All with death dates are buried in Bristol, Rhode Island in Juniper Hill Cemetery.
 
Jacob enlisted on 09 Jun 1862 as Major in the 10th Regiment Company Field & Staff he was mustered out with the 10th in Providence,RI on 01 Sept 1862,
Jacob reenlisted as Major in the 7th Regiment Rhode Island Infantry Company Field & Staff and was mortaly wounded in the battle of Fredericksburg, Va. on 13 Dec 1862. He died of these wounds on 23 December 1862.
Jacob is buried with his family in Bristol, RI
